Holly Dickson Begs The Florida Supreme Court For Help
Holly Dickson pleaded with the Florida Supreme Court for help in August 2018. She gives details of how shyster lawyer Mark Stopa scammed her.
You can also read the whole pleading here. It is a real tear jerker. Below are some excerpts:
Mr. Stopa colluded with the attorneys from opposing Counsel to make what has become many deals at the expense of his clients. It was no surprise when the FDLE opened up its investigation. It is my understanding that Mr. Stopa is vigorously fighting his suspension. In my opinion, the suspension does not go far enough. However, he is just one of many that have joined ranks in committing mortgage fraud.
Mr. Stopa had entered into a deal with the Nationstar and Bank of America to sell the property to an “investor” on 02/06/2017. Once I figured out what had taken place, I fired Mr. Stopa. It would take me seven months to get him removed from my case. Nationstar and Stopa worked in secrecy and I was kept in the dark. I had to petition the L.T. to remove Mr. Stopa from my case. It was too late.
Short of a dismissal with prejudice, I pray to the Court to stay my foreclosure sale until all the facts regarding Mr. Stopa’s business dealings are on the table and that further injury to his clients will not be acceptable. The collective “we” should not be victimized twice.
Unfortunately, the Florida Supreme Court turned their back on Holly Dickson. As a result, Stopa took possession of her home in February 2019.
