Steven Cozzi’s Boss Jake Blanchard Is Under A Criminal Investigation And Bar Investigation For Participating In Mark Stopa’s Foreclosure Scams
Cozzi’s boss Attorney Jake Blanchard is currently embroiled in two criminal investigations by State and Federal authorities. FDLE and HUD-OIG are investigating Blanchard.
Authorities want to know the details of his involvement in disbarred lawyer Mark Stopa’s multi-million dollar foreclosure equity skimming scheme.
A psychotic Mark Stopa has repeatedly threatened to sue any entities that report on his illegal activities. As a result, mainstream media refuses to cover the breaking news about his latest equity skimming real estate scheme for fear of triggering a frivolous Mark Stopa Pro Se lawsuit.
However, the investigative journalists at MarkStopaVictims.com are not afraid to dig deep and report the truth about Mark Stopa.
Jake Blanchard Worked Hand-In-Hand With Mark Stopa
Public land and court records indicate Blanchard operated as lead attorney in Stopa’s recent statewide fraud scheme. Stopa’s latest scheme involves egregious frauds on the court in 24 counties. Stopa and his attorneys including Blanchard tricked judges to place bogus liens on foreclosure properties owned by Mark Stopa.
The scam worked like this. Mark Stopa would have one of his alter ego shell companies fabricate a phony debt on a negative equity home he already owned which was soon to be lost to foreclosure sale by the first mortgage.
The purpose was so Stopa could sue himself and trick a judge into ordering a foreclosure sale on his fake judgment debt where Stopa hoped to trick and defraud innocent auction buyers into overbidding before the senior mortgage foreclosed.
The buyers would overbid on the fake judgment creating a six figure surplus collected by Mark Stopa and his wife Adrienne Federico. Later the Mark Stopa victim would lose everything when the first mortgage foreclosed.
Public records indicate Blanchard is listed as the main attorney of record on many of Stopa’s fraudulent foreclosure filings.. These include Pinellas County Cases #22-466-CO; #21-9499-CO and #21-8887-CO, as well as case #22CC-2096 and #22CC-512 in Hillsborough County.
State and Federal Criminal Fraud Investigations
State and Federal investigators currently have multiple ongoing racketeering investigations of Mark Stopa and his entire crime family. The Florida Bar is also allegedly heavily involved.
Sources say the Florida Bar is investigating Jill Schuh, Lee Segal and Christopher Hixson from the Segal & Schuh Law Group. They are also investigating Ashley Drew, Randall Reder and Carla Turner-Hahn. In addition, they are also investigating Vestalia Aylsworth, Darlene DePoalo and Jake Blanchard.
Law Enforcement is allegedly investigating Blanchard’s law firm for conspiring with disbarred attorney Mark Stopa. Blanchard’s name is all over public records in Stopa’s statewide real estate foreclosure fraud scheme.
The word on the street is Stopa and Blanchard’s office were hit with a flurry of subpoenas in recent weeks. Word is also that Stopa has been in a manic frenzy to stop the investigation.
